Edit:
I should note that I fabricated this EVA long before Rebuild was announced, and it is only by random chance that I got the color correct. I love the new Rebuild of Evangelion movies, but I've gotta say I like my Unit 05 more. I'm not real into the 4 legs look.

Old deviation is old, but the fact that the Unit-05 is a "Provisional Type" implies to me that they could very easily make a STANDARD Unit-05 from it's remains.
